MAC Paint pot in Soft Ochre
Liquid black eyeliner
Eyeliner pencil in black
They're Real Mascara
MAC Rule eyeshadow
MAC Woodwinked eyeshadow
Maybelline Eye Studie Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze
MAC Soft Brown eyeshadow
MAC Espresso Eyeshadow
Matte Black Eyeshadow
False lashes (Optional)
Step 1:
Prime the eyelid using MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre. You can also use your foundation or concealer over your eyelids as primer. It works almost the same. Apply the Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze over the mobile eyelids.
Step 2:
Using a stiff flat eyeshadow brush, pat on the Woodwinked eyeshadow or any muted gold eyeshadow over the eyelid area, stopping at the crease.
Step 3:
Using a blending brush, apply Rule eyeshadow or a burnt orange eyeshadow in the crease. Blend well.
Step 4:
With a clean blending brush, take some Soft Brown eyeshadow and lightly blend the orange color eyeshadow, over the edges.
Step 4:
Darken the crease with a matte brown eyeshadow or Espresso eyeshadow with the pencil brush. Then, taking a blending brush, blend the dark eyeshadow well into the crease and the outer edge, extending it lightly outward.
Step 5:
Apply eyeliner to the upper lash line, mascara on top and bottom eyelashes and eyeliner pencil to the waterline. Eyelashes may also be used for a more glamorous look :)
Step 6:
With a pencil brush, take the matte black eyeshadow and blend along the lower lashline.
And tadaa! There you are, with sparkly brown eyes!
My personal preference of lipstick shade for this eye makeup is something bright, like Candy Yum Yum. A glossy nude lips will also be a great alternative.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, let me know if you try it out! :)
You have beautiful eyes - the shadow really emphasises them! I really need to get practicing eye make up, I never make much of an effort, so I'd love to try this look :) xx
